SINGLES

MORNING, NOON AND NIGHT by JACK WARD
BOBLO BO 516
NOTES: Interesting in that it's sung by the composer and on the Boblo Records label where it was recorded before Jimmy cut his own version.
This particular copy which was offered on eBay has been autographed by Orion himself.
Copy shown is a D.J. promo copy.

Both tracks written by Britnell & Treffers.
A rough version of the B side can be found

No Ellis/Orion involvement.
B side is an instrumental in the style of Johnny & The Hurricanes.
Listen to the You Tube clip above. It's not Jimmy Ellis singing.

ALBUMS
Dan Willis

SPELLING ON THE STONE  Anonymous artist,
CURB RECORDS RPM-1254  U.S.A.
Released 1989
Vinyl LP. An album often mistaken for a Jimmy Ellis release but has no connection whatsoever with him. The singer is in reality a guy named Dan Willis. Despite even Jimmy speaking out and disowning this recording some fans still refuse to believe it's not Jimmy Ellis (or Elvis). The title track has also been issued on a 45rpm vinyl single (Curb Records CRB-10522).
